Seattle in Style

P-A-P-A Schaef and I headed out to Seattle last weekend to take in a weekend at The Gorge Ampitheater with the one and only Dave Matthews Band. We saw a bit of history, in that DMB has never done a three show set without repeating at least one song. So we saw three completely unique shows in a beautiful environment. And we got to do some hiking, check out the city, and drive...a lot. Here's just a few shots from the weekend.

GSM Summer Recap Medias

He's praying for you...

Our senior pastor is leaving on his sabbatical soon and I figured I'd take a moment to ask you all to take some time to pray for him while he's gone. I am really excited for Pastor Beeson and what he will be doing during this time and I think it will benefit our church in unbelievable ways. He is always in prayer for us, so let's take some time and pray for him.

I'm breaking the silence!

Ok everybody, summer is over, and I now have the mental capacity to blog again. Here it comes

How Star Trek should have ended

I heart the Pope

“I'm not a man who constantly thinks up jokes. But I think it's very important to be able to see the funny side of life and its joyful dimension and not to take everything too tragically. I'd also say it's necessary for my ministry.A writer once said that angels can fly because they don't take themselves too seriously. Maybe we could also fly a bit if we didn't think we were so important.”--Pope Benedict
